01 The philosophy

About Stonaluxe.

Stonaluxe is an operations consulting firm built for small independent medical practices in the Northeast. We focus on one specific problem: administrative chaos and back-office burnout in practices where good people are drowning in the work that holds the practice together.

02 Founder

The seat I sat in.

Shianne McLean has spent the last seven-plus years working inside the administrative and operations side of complex institutions. The view from that seat shaped why Stonaluxe exists.

That experience includes three-plus years coordinating administrative operations for a graduate clinical training program at a major U.S. university. It also includes direct support for an affiliated virtual clinic, where she handled patient intake firsthand.

Across those environments, the same pattern kept playing out. Institutions running on outdated or duct-taped workflows. Capable, dedicated people quietly burning out because the systems around them were designed for an era that no longer exists. Documentation that takes three times as long as it should. Intake processes that haven't been touched in a decade.

Admin staff who know more about how the operation actually works than any executive in the org chart — and who are increasingly being asked to do that work without modern tools, without enough peers, and without the bandwidth to push back.

Stonaluxe was founded to fix the systems, not blame the people inside them. The work targets the specific category of pain Shianne has seen the most: small medical practices where the admin side of the operation is held together by the goodwill and overwork of one or two trusted staff members, and where the cost of losing them — to burnout, to a better-paying job, to a different career entirely — is a risk the practice can't actually afford.

She holds a B.S. in Marketing from Howard University and is HIPAA-trained. Her work integrates AI-enabled tools into operational workflows, with attention to compliance, data handling, and the human reality of how small teams actually adopt new systems. Stonaluxe Marketing LLC is registered with SAM.gov and pursuing WOSB certification for federal subcontracting work.

03 What we believe
01

The bottleneck is rarely the people.

Most practices we talk to assume they need to hire more admin staff or replace the ones they have. In our experience, the bottleneck is almost always the systems the staff are working within. Fix the systems, and the existing team usually does fine.

02

Compliance is a design constraint, not an afterthought.

Operations in clinical environments live inside HIPAA, state regulations, payer requirements, and accreditation standards. Every workflow we install is designed around your compliance environment, not retrofitted to fit it afterward.

03

AI is a tool, not a replacement.

We use AI where it makes existing work faster and more accurate. We don't use it to replace your team, and we don't use it where it introduces compliance risk. The goal is always to make your people's work more sustainable.
